How We Engage
Quality and expertise are not the only values that have helped us achieve our success. We make it a point of honor to conduct business and our operations in a responsible and ethical way while showing respect to employees, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
Our commitments are focused on the follower areas:
- Respect for human rights and proper working conditions
- Respect for labor laws
- Traceability of materials according to the criteria set by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)
- Respect for the environment
We translate these values into concrete action in order to make our company sustainable.
Environmental Responsibility
The Atelier Gros workshop has the Eco21 label, which is an initiative created by the SIG to encourage individuals and companies in Geneva to conserve energy. We replaced 95% of our on-site lighting with LED and reduced our energy consumption by 30%. One hundred percent of the waste from precious metals is recycled. Oil and compostable waste are properly disposed of with the authorized waste management partners.
Social Responsibility
The smaller size of our company means that our managers and employees get to interact with each other daily. We encourage transparent communication between employees and use weekly meetings to give everyone a platform to engage in improving the culture and safety of our workplace.
In terms of our engagement with the local community, our company regularly opens its doors to people sent to Atelier Gros by the “Office pour l’orientation, la formation professionnelle et continue” (OFPC) for various internships.
